Before joining Estée Lauder Companies, Al held significant roles at Johnson & Johnson, where he spearheaded Design for the Environment and Green Marketing initiatives. He played a pivotal role in developing sustainability strategies for their Consumer Product, Medical Device, and Pharmaceutical sectors, and was the chief architect of the
Earthwards® greener product development program. His extensive background also includes work as an environmental consultant and as a regulator with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
